Launch your IT career at Novo Nordisk

Novo Nordisk’s Graduate Programme in Business IT is a great opportunity for future IT leaders to join a fast-growing, successful, international company. As a Novo Nordisk graduate, you’ll gain broad knowledge of how IT is used to enable business processes in a large organisation – and you’ll be part of an international community of professionals working to defeat diabetes.

The Business IT Graduate Programme will give you valuable project management skills and an understanding of IT strategy and planning. You’ll learn to take ownership of projects, and you’ll build up an international network of colleagues.

What’s more, a Novo Nordisk graduate programme is a door to a world of opportunities – with most of our graduates hired on a permanent basis when they’ve finished the programme.

What you’ll be doing

As a Business IT graduate, you’ll gain experience working in a broad range of areas, including:

  • Project management
  • Portfolio analysis
  • Vendor management
  • Change management
  • Business process analysis
  • IT system strategy

Scope of the programme

The Business IT Graduate Programme comprises three eight-month rotations. You’ll complete at least two of these at corporate headquarters in Denmark, but many graduates complete one rotation at a Novo Nordisk affiliate in another part of the world.

Requirements

To join the Business IT Programme, you’ll need to have successfully completed a degree in a relevant field, such as IT, economics, or information studies. We’re looking for people who are performance-oriented, outgoing and willing to learn from others. You should be able to work as part of a team – but also to work independently and be prepared to take ownership over your own projects.

The application deadline was 17 February 2008. Next graduate recruitment will start early 2009.
