The Graduate Programme: where life-changing careers begin

Novo Nordisk Graduate Programmes
A Novo Nordisk Graduate Programme is a great way to launch a rewarding career in the global pharmaceuticals industry. Our programmes in Business IT, Global Finance, Business Processes, International Marketing, Supply Chain Management, R&D - Regulatory Affairs and R&D - Global Development provide distinct entry points into Novo Nordisk and the pharma industry worldwide. And when we say "worldwide" we really mean it - all our programmes include international assignments.

Learning by doing – around the world
Here’s how our Graduate Programmes work. Each programme lasts two years and consists of three eight-month assignments – or “rotations”. You’ll complete at least one of these at Novo Nordisk HQ in Copenhagen, and at least one at a regional office or affiliate in another part of the world. Many rotations also include shorter stays in different countries.
Rotation assignments are based on a combination of business needs and opportunities for personal development, but we try to accommodate our graduates’ wishes whenever possible.
After completing the Graduate Programme, most of our graduates stay with Novo Nordisk as cLEAN consultants, financial analysts, international product managers or other key staff. Many advance to positions of leadership – either at corporate headquarters in Denmark or at one of our regional offices.
Experience life with a world leader
A Novo Nordisk Graduate Programme gives you two years of invaluable work experience at one of the world’s best-performing pharmaceutical companies. You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of our company as well as exposure to the international pharmaceutical industry as a whole. All our programmes offer:
- Challenging assignments
- True international experience
- Extensive career & personal development
- A strong, multicultural network
And while you’re getting real-world work experience with us, you’ll also be helping to defeat diabetes – making a real difference to people’s lives.
What we expect
We invest a lot in our graduates – and we expect a lot in return. We can promise an exciting two years of intense learning and great opportunities. And some graduates end up working in areas they wouldn’t even have predicted at the start of the programme.
To make the most of the opportunities we offer, you’ll need to be curious, adventuresome and open to change. If this sounds like you – and you are also a motivated, results-oriented team player who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment – you just might be the person we’re looking for!
To apply to our programmes, you need to be a recent graduate (Master’s degree or equivalent) with a strong record of outstanding academic and personal achievement.
