Chronic inflammatory and autoimmune disorders

We have been among the pioneers in understanding the autoimmune pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes. Based on this experience in immunology and biologics, we seek to supplement our promising pipeline in the field of autoimmune diseases. Thus, we seek partners with novel and innovative protein therapies for:

  • chronic inflammatory and autoimmune disorders.
We welcome opportunities at early discovery phase as well as clinical projects. We do not exclude any, relevant targets, but we particularly focus on validated targets within the following categories:
  • Surface molecules on cells involved in immune regulation, particularly T cells, NK cells, dendritic cells and monocytes/macrophages
  • Cytokines and chemokines.

Our position

We have, together with our partners, created an exciting pipeline that is advancing fast. The two front-runners anti-IL-20 and anti-C5aR are already in the clinic and further projects are in late pre-clinical phase. We have established a world-wide network of expert advisors within psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, inflammatory bowel disease, and multiple sclerosis.

Our extensive background in diabetes and biologics prompted us to explore new therapeutic areas, and with our strong immunological knowledge within T cells and cytokines, chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases were logical choices.
